What you'll do

  • Conduct security architecture review of the full stack, including applications built on the cloud and new technologies
  • Partner with client and server engineering teams to provide security expertise and security controls for product feature development
  • Work closely with teammate engineers who manage policy and insights to ensure client security controls are robust
  • Provide clear and detailed risk assessment remediation guidelines for developers and business owners
  • Conduct regular threat modeling assessments specializing on zero trust infrastructure concepts
  • Define and own metrics and key performance indicators to determine the effectiveness of the Security automation program
  • Respond to threats and risks within the organization within a timely and professional manner
  • Contribute with deploying organizational security projects.
  • Reduce organizational risks through people, processes, and technologies
  • Create automation to reduce time to remediation across infrastructure
  • Manage the effectiveness of tooling, and identifying new tool needs as necessary
  • Assist with the configuration of application security tools, monitor output, and assist developers with remediation of code vulnerabilities

Who you are

  • Able to analyze, assess, and respond to various internet threats
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical
  • Experience reviewing distributed systems design and conducting threat modeling of highly connected systems
  • Experience in software development working with one or more of the following languages: Javascript, Python, Go
  • Knowledge and experience building distributed systems
  • Upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about about performing security analysis and translating that to product requirements, design, implementation and test development
